New Opera Works & Process

It was a play, then a movie; next logical step is an opera, of course!  Doubt composed by Douglas J. Cuomo and based on the play by John Patrick Shanley, who wrote the libretto for the opera himself, will have its world premiere at Minnesota Opera in January, 2013.  This Sunday at 7:30 you can listen to excerpts and discussion of the opera live from the Guggenheim‘s Works & Process series on their UStream channel.  Since you’d have to pay to go to the Works & Process events, it’s a pretty neat deal…

Fox in the Chicken Coop
